PELATIHAN SOLIDWORKS UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PENGETAHUAN MECHANICAL DESIGN ASSOCIATE PADA SISWA SMKN 2 BANDUNG

Abstrak

One of the requirements needed by technicians and engineers in the field of mechanical engineering is to be able to master engineering software in the design and design of a product. CAD (Computer Aided Design) is a computer application in design activities. Students of SMKN 2 Bandung, one of the SMKs that has a Department of Image Engineering. The problem faced by students of SMKN 2 Bandung is that there is no licensed solidworks software available at SMKN 2 Bandung so this is an obstacle for students of SMKN 2 Bandung to improve their skills related to solidworks, even though the basic material related to CAD is already known but they still don't know about the software. com. solidworks. Bandung State Polytechnic Engineering Department has solidworks software that is licensed and provides solidworks certification. So based on this issue, Solidworks Knowledge Improvement was carried out at SMKN 2 Bandung through a community service program with a community partnership scheme. The purpose of this activity is to increase the competence of Human Resources and increase competitiveness, especially the millennial generation. The training process begins with a pre test which aims to measure the initial knowledge level of students at SMKN 2 Bandung regarding Solidworks Software, then an introduction and material related to Solidworks, and at the end of the training an Evaluation is carried out with the CSWA Trial Exam, and a post test. Based on the results of the training through the community service program, the results of the training that was conducted on 15 participants showed a significant increase in mastery of the Solidworks CAD software. Based on the results of the questionnaire regarding the level of increasing students' knowledge related to solidworks, namely 13.3% of students stated "Very Good", 80% of students stated "Good" and 6.7% of students stated "Low".
