Abstrak

The socialization and counseling program carried out by the community service team is based on the problems faced by coastal women, namely, limited access to education and training, lack of economic capital, vulnerable employment, changes in the social and cultural environment that require women to have the capacity to manage resources, lack of access to government and lack of knowledge about gender mainstreaming. However, there are still many opportunities or potential areas that can be utilized by coastal women, therefore, through this program, the community service team wants to assist in increasing the capacity of coastal women through socialization and counseling on the management of existing resources, partners are greatly helped by the counseling conducted because apart from the material presented, the service team also succeeded in advocating and bringing together the points of view of interested parties who can support community development, including coastal women, community leaders and local government.
