PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT KOTA DENGAN PENGUATAN PENGETAHUAN E-COMMERCE PASCA PANDEMI COVID-19

After the pandemic ends, the economic impact can still be felt in society. Traders, both small businesses and retail, who are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic are often forced to close down because their income is not commensurate with their expenses. This directly or indirectly has an impact on the economy of the lower middle class. Residents in the Pesanggrahan sub-district area, which has a population of approximately 4,300 people with 1,000 families, are one of the community groups affected. The majority of people's livelihoods in RW 03 Pesanggrahan Village are traders, private employees and laborers. Even though the pandemic has ended, the economic downturn is still being felt. Indicators can be seen from the weakening of purchasing power and business movements in the area, which includes entrepreneurial and residential areas. This Community Service Program is an effort to revive the economy of communities affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The aim of this activity is to provide broader knowledge about e-commerce for the public so that they can more quickly revive the MSME economy after the pandemic. The results of the activity show that the target community understands the education provided and implements expanding their business by using social media to restore the family economy.
