Publication Ethics

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Ethics in publishing for Author

  • Reporting standards: Authors of reports of original research should present an accurate account of the research performed as well as an objective discussion of its significance. Underlying data should be represented honestly and accurately without fabrication, falsification or inappropriate data manipulation. A manuscript should contain sufficient detail and references to permit others to replicate the work. Fraudulent or knowingly inaccurate statements constitute unethical behavior and are unacceptable.

  • Originality and Plagiarism : Authors should ensure that they have entirely original works, if the authors have used the work and/or words of others, that this has been appropriately cited or quoted. Data, text, figures or ideas originated by other researchers should be properly acknowledged. Plagiarism in all its forms constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable

  • Plagiarism Screening Policy : Before going to peer-review process, the manuscript for publication are subjected to plagiarism check through Turnitin Software. Once an act of over similarity/plagiarism is detected (upper 20% exclude References/Bibliography similarity checker), authors are informed about the incident and their manuscript will instantly be rejected by Editorial Team.

  • Authorship of the Paper : The authorship of research publications should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to conception, design, execution or interpretation of the reported study. Others who have made significant contribution must be listed as co-authors. Authors also ensure that all the authors have seen and agreed to the submitted version of the manuscript and their inclusion of names as co-authors.

  • Multiple, Redundant, or Concurrent Publications : An author should make sure that manuscript is the author(s)' own original work, which has not been previously published and is not currently being considered for publication elsewhere. Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently constitutes unethical publishing behaviour and is unacceptable.

  • Acknowledgement of Sources: Proper acknowledgement of the work of others must always be given. Authors should cite publications that have been influential in determining the nature of the reported work.

  • Fundamental Errors in Published Works : When the author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in the submitted manuscript, then the author should promptly notify the journal editor or publisher and cooperate with the editor to retract or correct the paper.

  • Hazards and Human or Animal Subjects : If the work involves chemicals, procedures or equipment that have any unusual hazards inherent in their use, the author must clearly identify these in the manuscript.
