Fruit freshness not only affects the quality of the products sold but is also crucial in ensuring consumer safety and reducing food wastage. Non-fresh fruits can become a source of microbial contamination and can cause food poisoning if consumed. Based on these factors, various image processing technologies such as ResNet, DenseNet, MobileNetV2, NASNet, and EfficientNet, CNN, DCNN, etc., have been developed to assist the industry in real-time and efficient classification and detection of fruit freshness. Therefore, this research aims to explore another algorithm, namely YOLOv8, to evaluate the accuracy and precision performance in detecting fruit freshness. In this study, it was found that the YOLOv8 model with 100 epochs and a batch size of 8 yielded a confusion matrix result with an accuracy of 88%. At high confidence levels, the model was able to detect fruit freshness with an average precision of 97%. However, at low confidence levels, the average recall reached 87%. At a balanced confidence level (0.50), the precision and recall F1-Score reached an average of 73%. Evaluation beyond the confidence level showed a precision of 74% and a recall of 75%. These results indicate that the YOLOv8 model has not yet reached an optimal level compared to other algorithms that have an accuracy above 90%. Local culture is also increasingly influenced by Western culture, especially among teenagers. This research aims to design interactive multimedia learning media that are engaging and effective in introducing Indonesian culture and heritage. The method used is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), involving stages of concept development, design creation, content gathering, application development, and testing and distribution. The research results indicate that the developed interactive learning media features text, audio, images, and videos accessible to all users, particularly children. Alpha and beta testing show that this learning media performs well and is highly suitable for use, scoring 4,73 out of 5 on the assessment scale. However, if the pesticide dosage is misapplied or does not adhere to recommendations, it can harm plants and the environment. Utilizing variable land area implies that the necessary pesticide dosage varies. A prevalent approach for farmers to estimate the required dosage is by roughly using pesticide bottle caps. Due to approximate measurements, there is potential for excessive or insufficient pesticide doses that do not align with recommended limits. Therefore, a system is needed to control pesticide dosages based on the plant area's requirements. This research establishes a system capable of regulate the necessary pesticide dosage, encompassing the volume of pure pesticide and water. The results of this research show that the level of accuracy of pesticide dosage for the required volume of pure pesticide is 97.82%, provided that the minimum system output is 20 ml and above. Meanwhile, the accuracy of pesticide dosage for water volume requirements reached 98.9%. In addition, the system succeeded in controlling the pesticide dose according to recommendations for spraying mustard greens with an overall control accuracy of 97.47%.</em></p> Risny Sari Gumala, Cucu Suhery, Suhardi Suhardi Copyright (c) 2024 Risny Sari Gumala, Cucu Suhery, Suhardi Suhardi https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://jurnal.polsri.ac.id/index.php/jupiter/article/view/8453 Sat, 25 May 2024 00:00:00 +0700 Perancangan (ITIL) V3 untuk Meningkatkan Tata Kelola Teknologi Informasi pada Layanan Perpustakaan Politeknik Negeri Malang https://jurnal.polsri.ac.id/index.php/jupiter/article/view/8371 <p>This research evaluates the performance of Information Technology (IT) services at the Malang State Polytechnic Library, focusing on the Service Operation domain. ITIL V3 is a best practice concept in IT service management that is non-proprietary and non-prescriptive. The focus of the research is on the main processes of IT Service Management (ITSM), namely service support and service delivery. The research method uses a qualitative approach with interviews to related parties and observation by distributing questionnaires to students. The results identified several problems in the ITSM process, especially in Incident Management, Problem Management, and Request Fulfillment. The conclusion shows that although the LMS service is good enough, improvements are still needed in event management, incident recovery, and problem handling in order to optimize IT services. Recommendations were developed based on the findings of the problem, including the design of an ITIL infrastructure involving the development of existing processes.
