Abstract

            Good learning media are needed by students, especially those who prioritize practicum rather than theory. Conventional learning media, such as learning through books, tend to feel boring. Technological developments lead to the development of learning media that are more effective and interesting, therefore the researcher used Augmented Reality technology to develop learning media which is an application of combining the real world and the virtual world in the form of 2D and 3D animation, where the information presented is interesting and interactive. This application used the latest method, namely, combining two methods as well as the marker based method and the markerless method. The method used to develop this application is the prototype method. This application produces learning media in the form of 2D and 3D animations that can rotate, have a zoom effect and are equipped with audio and explanatory text as many as 11 computer hardware.
