PENYULUHAN PENGOLAHAN MINYAK JELANTAH MENJADI SABUN CAIR DI UMKM MELATI KELURAHAN SUKARAJA KOTA PRABUMULIH

Abstract

The pandemic due to the Covid-19 virus has hit every aspect of human life, from teaching and learning activities, office activities to religious activities. The success rate in tackling the spread of this virus depends on the community's commitment to implementing health protocols. The health protocol, namely the 5M Program (Washing Hands, Wearing Masks, Keeping Distance, Staying Away from Crowds and Reducing Mobility) launched by the government is quite effective in reducing the spread of this virus. One of the places that must implement health protocols is the mosque, the community is still busy doing the 5 daily prayers and Friday prayers at the mosque even though the spread of the covid-19 virus is still quite high in Palembang, for those mosques must provide facilities for health protocols such as a place to wash hands, use of hand sanitizers and body temperature measuring devices. The provision of these facilities must be automatic so that there is no direct contact process with mosque congregations which can be a medium for the spread of the covid-19 virus in mosque clusters. Through this community service program, a tool that can detect temperature and the provision of automatic hand sanitizers is made which is placed at the entrance to the fence of the Al-Ittifaq Tanjung Barangan Mosque and previously through an explanation of this tool starting from the function and technique of the tool to the mosque management. This tool is expected to be able to provide protection against the spread of the Covid-19 virus in the mosque cluster.
