Abstract

Renewable energy is a non-fossil energy source that is environmentally friendly and has an important role because of its contribution to efforts to reduce the impact of climate change and global warming considering its low emission and sustainable nature. The photovoltaic system or often known in Indonesia as PLTS is one of the renewable energy source. Currently, solar energy has become an important part and has a major influence on human life, especially as a source of electricity. Solar energy can also be used as an energy source to dry foodstuffs that are constrained by changes in the weather, such as crackers. Drying using solar energy sources has several advantages including the drying process does not require a long time and the dried product has a more hygienic quality because drying is carried out in a drying chamber or often called an oven. Hybrid solar-photovoltaic drying can be made portable with the aim of making it easier
